I am Julie Wiggs and I founded UK Virtual Assistant Services in 2012.  My journey began when I met a local businessman who was clearly struggling to manage all his admin and office tasks whilst he was out talking care of his main business activity.  I offered to help him and I haven't looked back and his business has grown from strength to strength and he is still my client today.

I love my job and am extremely motivated. People I speak to do remark that my passion shines through when I speak about my work.  I want to help businesses thrive and grow by taking care of those business tasks and activities you don't like to do or simply don't have the time for.  I strive to be your business best friend!

The 'Go To' Person

​

For as long as I can remember, I've always been the 'go to' person for family, friends and colleagues.  If they need something doing, a problem solving, I've also sorted it, solved the problem or answered the question.  I am passionate about helping people, it really is part of my DNA.  If there is something I'm not familiar with then you can guarantee I will learn quickly and I will get it done. 

 

I am a details oriented person and for me, giving the best service is the only option. I strive for excellence in everything I do.

My Background

​

I have a vast range of experience and expertise with over 30 years in Investigation & Intelligence, Legal Services, Business Administration/Management and Leadership roles within HM Customs & Excise / UK Border Force and the private sector.

 

I have successfully set up many departments and teams from scratch, both in the public and private sectors, devising paper and IT systems and processes as well as training and managing teams.

What do I offer?

I am an extra pair of hands for all your business support needs. Your fully staffed 'back office' or business manager when you need me.  By taking care of these tasks for you, your business becomes more productive and you can concentrate on promoting and building your business. As a business, I understand the business world and with my experience and expertise I can also offer advice, tips, suggestions and be a sounding board for your ideas or manage aspects of your business for you.

With a VA/OBM there are no overheads, no PAYE/NIC, salaries, holidays, sick pay. paying for loo breaks, tea breaks, chats at the water cooler etc. You only pay for actual work time and we work when you need us to.  Whether you need a few hours every now and again, help with a one off project or more long term support we are here to help, providing a flexible, efficient and a cost-effective service to help ensure your business runs smoothly.
